Auckland, New Zealand

Greetings from Auckland, New Zealand, where the sun is shining brightly on a 75-degree day. We arrived at 5:30 Easter morning, when it was 12:30 p.m. on Saturday for folks back home. We had a very smooth flight on an Airbus 330.

We've spent today taking a walking tour of the city on our own: to the harbor (harbour), to the park, and to the Auckland Museum. Tomorrow we'll explore outside the city.

The scenery is spectacular and the Kiwis are friendly.
