I spotted the first oriole of the season on Tuesday. As you can see, he went straight for the suet cake and ignored the orange beside it. This morning I spotted the first ruby-throated hummingbird. Somehow I always feel certain that spring is, indeed, here, once these birds arrive.
Oh my! These birds are gorgeous!
