Then the checklist progress report came along, and the job was simplified dramatically. With a good checklist I could address just about every aspect of a student's performance. A short, handwritten note at the end and voila! the job was done.
But this progress report is easier still. Take a new photo, upload it with the January 4 photo for comparison, and voila! the job is done again.
The sweater isn't done, of course. Far from it. But the progress is there. And the ball of yarn is getting smaller. It's almost time to wind another hank into a ball.
Lookin GOOOOD!! It makes me want it. Isn't that placing my eternal soul in a dangerous place? Am I coveting? Uhhh, yeah. I think I am.
ReplyDeleteGood work!! Keep up the progress reports. It'll be fun to watch it morph into a gorgeous sweater. I can't wait to see the finished product.!
Well...pullover or cardigan?
ReplyDeleteIts going to be beautiful no matter what! Good work.
This is very, very impressive! I love the pattern and the color.
ReplyDeleteThose progress reports were one of the hardest parts of teaching. I hated doing them with a passion. We did it three times a year also. I used to rework them over and over before doing the final copy.
Jean, thank you so much for your comment about To Kill a Mockingbird. That was very interesting and so much fun to read.
ReplyDeletePullover or cardigan??
ReplyDeleteI haven't yet decided if it'll be a pullover or cardigan. I have until I finish the back to decide. Caryn's point about hot flashes and pullovers really hit home with me, because I'm nothing if not the Queen of Hot Flashes. So that makes me think I might decide on a cardigan.
ReplyDeleteComing along beautifully!!! I'm glad to hear you're leaning towards the cardigan.
ReplyDeleteAlright, alright, I will vote for the cardigan. ONLY because of the hot flash dilemna! If you are the "Queen" then I sure as heck am the "Princess"! That was a good point though.
